Welcome CommunityHealth is a volunteer-based, non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality free health care to uninsured people living in Chicago and the surrounding communities. Recognized as a leader among free clinics nationwide, both in budget and scope of services, CommunityHealth is the largest free clinic in Illinois and conducts 20,000 free visits each year.
46.6 million Americans, including 1.3 million individuals from the Chicago area, have no health insurance. From its fully equipped health center in Chicago's West Town neighborhood, CommunityHealth strives to address this crisis. Our team of more than 650 volunteers, including 250 physicians, serves Chicago's uninsured and underserved by providing free primary and specialty care, along with education, outreach and advocacy... because no one should go without health care.
